This has been a go to snack for us. In less than 10 minutes, you’ll have snacks that are not only delicious, but healthy too!

I use simple items that are already in my pantry, This recipe is so simple, and consists of just peanut butter, honey, rolls oats, flax seeds and chocolate chips. I also put powdered liver, and a collagen powder in them as well.

I use grass fed beef liver capsules from Optimal Carnivore. I just open the capsules up and squeeze them out. Liver is wild packed full of vitamins like A,B12, and iron. Its super high in folate zinc, copper, and protein, some of the most vital minerals your body needs to function properly.

I also put a collagen and bone broth powder from Warrior Strong Wellness in these balls, which was awesome. This company not only has a great back story that hits you right in the feels, dealing with a child with childhood cancer (a portion of each sale goes to childhood cancer research) But they also love Jesus, I love nothing more than supporting companies that love our Lord and Savior! This protein powder helps with:

Now you could use any protein powder or liver supplement but these are my favorite.

Peanut butter is packed full of vitamin E, magnesium, iron, selenium, and vitamin B6. In fact research shows that people who regularly eat nuts and nut butter, including peanut butter, are less likely to develop heart disease and type 2 diabetes. I do feel however that it’s important to bring up that you should try to look for peanut butter that doesn’t have canola or vegetable oil in them. These are highly inflammatory oils that your body has a hard time breaking down and using properly.

Raw Honey is fantastic for ant-oxidants, in fact, some studies even mention that raw might have anti depressant and anti-anxiety properties to them!

Here’s the recipe! Let me know if you. Make them!

Peanut Butter Balls

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tbs flax seeds
  • 6 capsules liver (optional)
  • 1/2 scoop collagen bone broth (optional)

Instructions

  • Mix together
  • form balls
  • cool in fridge for 15 minutes until firm!

Notes

mix together and for into one inch balls.
place in fridge for about 15 minutes before eating just so they firm up (this is optional, you can totally just dive in)
Keeps in the fridge for about 5 days
on the counter it keeps for about 3 days.
honestly they don’t last long in our home though, they are eaten really fast!
If they seem to runny or sticky you can add more rolled oats. I use an organic peanut butter that you could pour out of the jar its so runny so this is usually something I have to do.
