Tallow can come from different types of animals, such as cows, sheep, bison, bear and more. (Pig fat is NOT tallow, that is considered lard)
Our tallow is from 100% grass fed, grass finished cows. This provides an immense amount of vitamins that you can’t find in grain fed beef. Vitamins like A, B1, B4, B12, D3, E and K2. All of these vitamins provide benefits for your skin and are antioxidants, these help fight free radical damage. Free radicals are molecules in our bodies that have become unstable due to environmental stressors, like pollution, chemicals, toxins and more, thus damaging the skin. Tallow has a shelf stable life and doesn’t oxidize over time. Tallow has a very similar biological make-up to our skin, causing our skin to know exactly what to do with it and how to distribute and absorb it properly.
Grass fed, grass finished tallow is also a great source of cancer fighting conjugated linoleic acid, and omegas (3,6,7,& 9) These are vital for a deep healing, and a penetrating moisture.
Our line offers 4 different tallows.
TALLOW- is your basic tallow and carrier oil (we use jojoba) . It has no scent and is wonderful for your basic skin care needs!
TALLOW DELUXE- is the next level up. It’s great for all over the body but it has added benefits of things like rosehip oil which helps brighten your skin, prevent breakouts and reduce inflammation. Personally we love to put this on our face after showers.
HERBAL TALLOW- Is specifically formulated for psoriasis and eczema, the deep penetrating oils from tamanu and ostrich help moisturize and combat hard skin irritants like psoriasis and eczema and rosacea. (Though moisturizing the skin can be so great for these conditions, its imperative you try to get to the source of the problems, remember that almost all skin problems derive from the gut, try to find what is causing skin inflammation through what you are intaking)
HEALING TALLOW- (releasing October 2023)
Six herbs infused in jojoba oil for over 6 weeks. This tallow is formulated for literally just about EVERYTHING. Bites, stings, rashes, skin problems, moisture, splinters, burns, sunburns, wounds, you name it. Each herb it’s blended with provides the most nutrition to the skin and has its own medicinal properties. You can check out what each herb does on the products page!
This can happen at certain cooling points in the process depending on the temperature of the room it is cooling down at. We try very hard to give you a smooth consistency but sometimes it’s unavoidable especially with traveling in different heat and coolness across the country, the jars can heat up and cool down at any given point during shipment.
The good thing is you’ll notice it still melts right into your skin and still provides wonderful nourishment to your skin!
We do NOT recommend ever microwaving your product as that can kill the important nutrition in the balms. If it’s absolutely necessary you could place your jar on the lowest heat setting in the oven until it’s melted. (about 10 minutes) We don’t, however, guarantee this will provide a difference.
We have two balms for magnesium both are used with magnesium chloride. Magnesium Chloride provides many benefits like relaxing your body and mind. It can help detoxify the body, improve digestion, reduce aches and pains, relieve stress and anxiety, help with restless legs, sleep and energy. When you apply magnesium through the skin your body absorbs the exact amount it needs no more and no less, preventing you from overdosing on magnesium (which can cause bowel discomfort)
Our magnesium balm is primarily for all the above and provides great nourishment for your body.
Our CBD magnesium balm goes the extra mile and provides extra relief for aches, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic pain, anxiety relief and anti-inflammation.
Both contain different blended ingredients, check out product pages to see what they are!
Yes, all of our tallow balms are safe for babies and children.
Transdermal magnesium therapy (the application of magnesium through skin) is very safe for babies, but we recommend waiting till about 3 months due to their skin being sensitive incase of irritation occurs, you can always do a patch test (which we always recommend)
Oh! We are so sorry this has happened to you! Please email: email@example.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours!
