Yarrow is one of those herbs I always have on hand. I have used this herb in a poultice form many times. It's known for its vulnerary action so it's great for wounds. Specifically deep cuts to the bone. it's great for bruising because it helps stagnant blood move. Overall it's a favorite for a fever reducer, it has the ability to open the pores up on the body and let heat out, so it's fantastic for reducing fevers.
